Harvest
The harvest time and periods are planed plot by plot during daily visits to the vineyard for random visual and gustative sampling of the grapes in order to define the optimum pick up time sequences.
According to this constantly updated plan and taking into consideration actual weather and future weather forecasts, the grapes are hand picked and loaded in small 24 pounds crates. Crates are transported and stacked at the reception area buffer zone, the grapes being carefully protected from any possible wounds, oxidation or exposure to rain or heat.
